Discussion of the draft Strategy for the Development of Culture of Ukraine for 2025–2030 took place in Vinnytsia on February 3, at the Regional Academic Puppet Theater.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine and marked the fourth regional session as part of the development of this key strategic document. Participants in the discussion included representatives of the Ministry, cultural sector specialists, the public, and interested stakeholders.

During the presentation of the Strategy, First Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Halyna Hryhorenko emphasized the role of culture in strengthening human capital and the importance of preserving national heritage.

💬 “The new Strategy will help change the priorities of state policy. First of all, this concerns recognizing culture as part of the national security strategy. This means that culture is no less important than the defense sector. It means that we are changing the approaches to how strategic directions of state policy are determined, how they are financed, and how they are supported by state, regional, or local authorities,” noted Halyna Hryhorenko.

The following project themes of the Strategy were reviewed during the event:

✅ "Strengthening human capital through cultural practices"
✅ "Protection, preservation, and augmentation of cultural heritage"
✅ "Restoration and modernization of institutions and infrastructure through culture. Strengthening community cohesion through culture"
✅ "Integration of Ukrainian culture as an active participant and equal partner in global cultural processes"

The discussion of such strategic documents is a vital stage in forming a cultural policy that will meet contemporary challenges and the needs of Ukrainian society.
